For the first quarter of 2024, RWE reports a 39% drop in adjusted net income to 0.8 billion euros and a 26% drop in adjusted EBITDA to 1.71 billion euros, a decline it explains by the lower expected contribution from the flexible generation segment.

On the other hand, the German energy group reports higher contributions from the offshore wind segment thanks to better wind conditions, and from the onshore wind/solar segment due to capacity additions.

For 2024 as a whole, RWE confirms its target ranges of adjusted net income of between €1.9 and €2.4 billion and adjusted EBITDA of between €5.2 and €5.8 billion, as well as its objective of raising the dividend to €1.10 per share.
