Marks & Spencer has dealt a fresh blow to the high street as it announced another wave of store closures, putting more than 1,000 jobs at risk. The struggling high street giant is shutting 100 of its stores by 2022 and on revealed the locations of the next 17 branches to close in coming months. The locations of the 17 stores announced on are: Antrim (the Junction), Ashford, Kent, Barrow, Bedford, Boston, Buxton, Cwmbran, Deal, Felixstowe, Huddersfield, Hull, Luton Arndale, Newark, Northwich, Rotherham, Sutton Coldfield and Weston-super-Mare. The locations of the 17 stores announced on January 15, 2019 are: Antrim (the Junction); Ashford, Kent; Barrow; Bedford; Boston; Buxton; Cwmbran; Deal; Felixstowe; Huddersfield; Hull; Luton Arndale; Newark; Northwich; Rotherham; Sutton Coldfield; Weston-super-Mare.
