Seoul, South Korea - Embraer returns to GADLEX 2024, from 29 to 30 May, in Gumi City, in Gyeongsangbuk-do province of South Korea, where the company will exhibit aircraft products and solutions from across its business units, including commercial aviation and defence & security.

Embraer has an existing Memorandum of Understanding with the province of Gyeongsangbuk-do to promote collaboration across key aviation-related matters. In March this year, Embraer shared its expertise at an aviation-focused education seminar for college and university students from across the North Gyeongsang Province at Kyungwoon University. This initiative was aimed at developing talent in the local aviation industry.

Additionally, the top achieving students from the aforementioned seminar will have the opportunity to undertake on-site learning at Embraer's headquarters in Brazil in August this year.

Embraer has a growing footprint in South Korea.

Embraer's E190-E2 commercial jet demonstrated that it has the technical capabilities to support Korea's national objective of intra-country connectivity, along with international connectivity. The aircraft has the range to serve routes of up to seven hours, along with the proven capability of short runway performance.

Embraer's C-390 Millennium multi-mission tactical transport aircraft was selected by South Korea's Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) to provide the Republic of Korea Air Force (ROKAF) with new military transport aircraft.

In addition, the Praetor 600, the most technologically advanced business jet in its category. The Praetor 600 and renowned for its exceptional performance and versatility, was delivered to South Korea's Flight Inspection Center (FIC) at the end of 2023.

In April this year, Embraer's sister company, Eve Air Mobility named Korea Aerospace Industries Ltd. (KAI), as a supplier for its electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft's pylons. Pylons are a key component of the airframe that provide support for the aircraft's electric power units and eight lift propellers.

Embraer is committed to developing products, solutions, and technologies to contribute to the aviation industry's goal of achieving net zero emissions by 2050. Embraer aims to be carbon neutral by 2040 and achieve carbon neutral growth from 2022. It plans to implement 25% sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) use in its operations by 2040 and 100% renewable energy sources by 2030.
