On May 12, 2022, United for Respect Education Fund has filed an exempt solicitation statement and urged the shareholders of Walmart Inc. to vote for its shareholder proposal which ask the Board of Directors to create a Pandemic Workforce Advisory Council', composed of hourly Associates, to provide advice to the Board (including any relevant Board committee) upon request on pandemic-related workforce issues, including health and safety measures, whistleblower protections, and paid sick leave.
