KELAG-Kärntner Elektrizitäts-Aktiengesellschaft agreed to acquire 19 Small-scale Hydropower Station Portfolios in France and Portugal from RWE Aktiengesellschaft (XTRA:RWE) in December 2020. The acquisition also includes RWE Aktiengesellschaft’s small Portuguese onshore wind stake of 3 megawatts. Under the terms of the deal, 16 employees will also transfer to KELAG. Kelag Supervisory Board has given the approval for the transaction. The closing of transaction is expected in the course of 2021.
