Piaggio and Foton Motor Group today signed a contract in Beijing to jointly develop a new range of electric-powered Porters.
This is an extension to electric light commercial vehicles of the partnership that resulted in the first city truck, the new Porter NP6, in 2021, says a note.
The new range of electric Porters will be produced at Piaggio's Italian plants in Pontedera and will be distributed by the end of 2024 in major European countries.
