(Alliance News) - Matica Fintec Spa has announced that it has successfully concluded the installation and testing of the Venezuela License Project for the supply of laser systems, spare parts and installation services, with a total value of approximately USD900,000 under an agreement with the Venezuelan government.

The project, which began in late 2023, consists of Matica's supply of an S7000 system, a complete centralized card personalization solution being shipped, and 4 S5200LX laser systems already installed and operating at the client's premises.

As per agreements with the Venezuelan government, a new order of about USD800,000 for 4 more S7000 systems is expected to arrive in the second half of 2024.

Sandro Camilleri, president of Matica Fintec, commented, "We are very happy with this new commercial agreement that consolidates our presence in the Secure ID market at a centralized level in an international context."

Matica Fintec's stock is up 2.0 percent at EUR1.55 per share.
