LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton S.E. (ENXTPA:MC) entered into an agreement to acquire 80% stake in Rimowa GmbH from Dieter Morszeck and family for €640 million on September 30, 2017. Upon completion, Dieter Morszeck will continue to hold equity stake in the business and will continue to maintain his leadership functions. Rimowa GmbH reported a turnover of approximately €350 million in 2015. Alexandre Arnault will be appointed Chief Executive Officer of Rimowa. The transaction is subject to the approval of the competition authorities and regulatory approval. The transaction is expected to close in January, 2017.
