Chien Wei Precise Technology Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2020. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 83.748 million compared to TWD 65.649 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 2.938 million compared to TWD 11.514 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 1.222 million compared to net loss of TWD 12.629 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.03 compared to basic loss per share of TWD 0.33 a year ago. For the nine months, sales was TWD 229.277 million compared to TWD 253.128 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 20.798 million compared to TWD 23.302 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 12.775 million compared to TWD 24.278 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.33 compared to TWD 0.62 a year ago.
CHIEN WEI PRECISE TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and sales of precise molds, measure equipment, processing equipment, as well as other precise parts and components. Its processing equipment includes machine tools, jig grinders and computer numerical control (CNC) vertical grinders. The Company's precise molds are used for manufacturing of semiconductors, compact disks (CDs) and optoelectronic products. The measure equipment is used in integrated circuit (IC) component industry, semiconductor related industry, printed circuit board (PCB) industry, precise molds industry and mechanical component processing industry. The other precise components include parts, components and precise materials used for machines and equipment. The Company distributes its products in domestic market and to other Asia markets.
