Chien Wei Precise Technology Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2020. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 74.210 million compared to TWD 102.942 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 8.915 million compared to TWD 1.939 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 10.617 million compared to TWD 3.261 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.27 compared to TWD 0.08 a year ago.
CHIEN WEI PRECISE TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and sales of precise molds, measure equipment, processing equipment, as well as other precise parts and components. Its processing equipment includes machine tools, jig grinders and computer numerical control (CNC) vertical grinders. The Company's precise molds are used for manufacturing of semiconductors, compact disks (CDs) and optoelectronic products. The measure equipment is used in integrated circuit (IC) component industry, semiconductor related industry, printed circuit board (PCB) industry, precise molds industry and mechanical component processing industry. The other precise components include parts, components and precise materials used for machines and equipment. The Company distributes its products in domestic market and to other Asia markets.
