Chien Wei Precise Technology Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2019. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 84.537 million compared to TWD 137.642 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 9.849 million compared to operating Income of TWD 2.193 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 8.388 million compared to net income of TWD 4.786 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.22 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 0.12 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 187.479 million compared to TWD 247.452 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 11.788 million compared to operating Income of TWD 4.061 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 11.649 million compared to net income of TWD 6.085 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.3 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 0.16 a year ago.
CHIEN WEI PRECISE TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and sales of precise molds, measure equipment, processing equipment, as well as other precise parts and components. Its processing equipment includes machine tools, jig grinders and computer numerical control (CNC) vertical grinders. The Company's precise molds are used for manufacturing of semiconductors, compact disks (CDs) and optoelectronic products. The measure equipment is used in integrated circuit (IC) component industry, semiconductor related industry, printed circuit board (PCB) industry, precise molds industry and mechanical component processing industry. The other precise components include parts, components and precise materials used for machines and equipment. The Company distributes its products in domestic market and to other Asia markets.
