The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) has selected BAE Systems plc to provide software and systems engineering services under an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. BAE Systems has been selected as one of the prime contractors on a five year, multi-award IDIQ to provide systems and software engineering support for the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command's (CECOM) Software Engineering Center (SEC). The SEC provides essential lifecycle maintenance and support to ensure interoperability and function of the U.S. Army's Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems. The total value of all task orders that will be released under the IDIQ is estimated at $7 billion.
