Oct 3 - Britain's FTSE 100 index is seen opening lower on Tuesday, with futures down 0.2%.

* ASTRAZENECA: British drugmaker AstraZeneca said it will pay $425 million to settle product liability litigations against prescription-only acid-reflux medicine Nexium and heartburn drug Prilosec in the United States.

* BOOHOO: Boohoo said its revenue fell 17% in the six months to end-August and a slower-than-expected recovery in sales volumes would see revenue for the year to end-February 2024 decline by 12%-17%.

* GREGGS: Greggs kept its full-year outlook on Tuesday as underlying

sales rose

in the third quarter and it won market share, showing the resilience of its value offer in a cost of living crisis now into its second year.

* RYANAIR: Ryanair flew 9%

more

passengers in September than in the same month last year, Europe's largest airline by passenger numbers said.

* PETROFAC: British oil services firm Petrofac said it received an over $600 million

contract

from ADNOC Gas for Habshan carbon capture and storage project as the Abu Dhabi-based company steps up its decarbonisation plan.

* INFLATION: Prices in British store chains rose at the slowest pace in a year in September, according to industry data that adds to signs that the UK's high inflation rate is set to extend its recent fall.

* OIL: Oil prices slipped 1% in early Asian trade after falling to a three-week low in the previous session, on a stronger U.S. dollar, rising U.S. bond yields, and mixed supply signals.

* GOLD: Gold sell-off extends to seventh straight session on hawkish Fed.
