Symphony Floating Rate Senior Loan Fund (TSX:SSF.UN) announces a share repurchase program. Under the bid, the fund will repurchase up to 2,327,000 units, representing 10% of the public float and 9.72% of its issued and outstanding units. The units will be purchased for cancellation through the facilities of the TSX or other eligible alternative market.

The units will be repurchased at a price per unit not exceeding the last net asset value per unit. The Fund may purchase up to 478,513 units in any 30 day period. The fund believes that such purchases are in its best interest and are a desirable use of its available funds.

The bid will expire on November 18, 2015. As of November 10, 2014, the company has 23,925,685 issued and outstanding units and 23,270,885 units in public float.
