The sixth stage of the ADAC-Abarth F4 Championship powered by Abarth set in Nurburgring circuit, saw three different winners: the German Mick Schumacher, the Australian Joey Mawson and, featuring over 40 young drivers on the starting line driving Tatuus single-seaters with Abarth engines.
Mick Schumacher won race 1 in an exciting race: the son of record Formula 1 championship winner Michael Schumacher beat off competition from championship leader Joey Mawson and Mike David Ortmann.
The Australian Mawson won the second race ahead of the two rookies Juri Vips and Nicklas Nielsen. Thomas Preining secured his second win of 2016 in Race3 from Mick Schumacher who started from P10 on the grid, and from best-placed rookie, Juri Vips
The uncertainty over the final rankings makes this Championship especially exciting, with Australian pilot Joey Mawson leading, in front of German Mick Schumacher and Mick Ortmann.
This is a great, yet demanding season for young Schumacher, since he also races in the Italian F4 Championship powered by Abarth, where is in second place in the general rankings.
Both championships adopt the single-seater with Abarth T-Jet 160 HP engine, the same engine featured in the Abarth 595 and 595 Turismo, which guarantees maximum reliability and low management costs.
