Cergy, September 18th, 2017 - SPIE, the independent European leader in multi-technical services in the areas of energy and communications, announces the appointment of Olivier Domergue as Chief Operating Officer for France. His appointment is effective as of 10 July 2017.

Born in 1968, Olivier Domergue is a graduate engineer from the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées. After spending his early career in the Bouygues group, he joined SPIE in 2007 as HVAC Business Director for SPIE Île-de-France Nord-Ouest, before heading up SPIE Nucléaire in 2013.

Olivier Domergue succeeds Gilles Brazey as Chief Operating Officer for France and will continue to include SPIE Nucléaire within his management remit.

In a French economic climate that is showing the first signs of improvement, Olivier Domergue wants SPIE to be part of an ambitious and sound development process, both for its customers and its 18,000 employees within France.

'The professionalism of each of our employees and the diverse nature of our expertise and talents distinguish us and are our real strength. We have so many assets that must enable us to confirm our positions in France, through inventive and competitive customer offerings', says Olivier Domergue. 'In order to achieve that, we will rely on our Group values - local presence, performance & responsibility - which have long been at the very heart of our strategy.'
