For the quarter, the company reported net profit before Zakat of SAR 8,666,000 against net loss before Zakat of SAR 13,549,000 a year ago. Net written premiums were SAR 77,937,000 against SAR 74,378,000 a year ago. Gross written premiums were SAR 93,156,000 against SAR 91,823,000 a year ago. Net profit of policy holders investment was SAR 605,000. The Reason of increase in the profit for the 3rd quarter of 2016 compared to the same quarter of 2015 is due to the increase in the total revenue by 70.58%. The Reason of increase in the profit for the 3rd quarter of 2016 compared to the previous quarter is due to the decrease in total claims and other expenses by 5.64%. For the nine months, the company reported net profit before Zakat of SAR 49,607,000 against net loss before Zakat of SAR 7,641,000 a year ago. Net written premiums were SAR 388,282,000 against SAR 285,730,000 a year ago. Gross written premiums were SAR 454,035,000 against SAR 360,616,000 a year ago. Net profit of policy holders investment was SAR 1,927,000. Earnings per share were SAR 2.42 against loss per share of SAR 0.42 a year ago. The Reason of increase for this period compared to the same period of 2015 is due to the increase in the total revenue by 108.01%.
