Saint-Gobain announced Monday that it has finalized the acquisition of Termica San Luis, an Argentine rock wool specialist, in a move designed to strengthen its presence in the country.

The French building materials group points out that Termica San Luis is a family-owned business with over 70 years' experience in the insulation market.

A pioneer in the production of stone wool in Argentina, the company is now the leading producer.

Termica San Luis employs 40 people at a site in the province of San Luis, all of whom will join the 800 employees Saint-Gobain already has in Argentina.
