Rio Tinto Group reported production results for the fourth quarter and full year of 2023. For the quarter, the company reported Pilbara iron ore shipments of 86.3 Mt, decreased by 1% compared to fourth quarter of 2022. Pilbara iron ore production was 87.5 Mt, decreased by 2% compared to fourth quarter of 2022. Production of Bauxite was 15.1 Mt, increased by 15% compared to fourth quarter of 2022. Production of Alminium was 846 kt, increased by 8% compared to fourth quarter of 2022. Production of Mined Copper was 160 kt, increased by 5% compared to fourth quarter of 2022. Production of Titanium dioxide slag was 275 kt, decreased by 15% compared to fourth quarter of 2022. Production of IOC iron ore pellets and concentrate was 2.7 Mt, increased by 7% compared to fourth quarter of 2022.

For the full year, the company reported Pilbara iron ore shipments of 331.8 Mt, increased by 3% compared to full year of 2022. Pilbara iron ore production was 331.5 Mt, increased by 2% compared to full year of 2022. Production of Bauxite was 54.6 Mt with no change compared to full year of 2022. Production of Alminium was 3,272 kt, increased by 9% compared to full year of 2022. Production of Mined Copper was 620 kt, increased by 2% compared to full year of 2022. Production of Titanium dioxide slag was 1,111 kt, decreased by 7% compared to full year of 2022. Production of IOC iron ore pellets and concentrate was 9.7 Mt, decreased by 6% compared to full year of 2022.
