Tokyo--Nomura Research Institute, Ltd. (NRI) [Tokyo:4307] a leading provider of consulting services and system solutions, has agreed with MindWave Solutions Pte. Ltd. (MindWave, headquartered at Singapore, Chairman Vinod Menon) to enter into a business alliance through shares acquisition, via its group company, Nomura Research Institute Asia Pacific (NRI APAC), headquartered at Singapore.

The alliance aims to provide high quality services by both partners for the expanding Southeast Asian market where diversified customer needs for IT-related services are emerging.

To establish a strong alliance through the capital injection into and appointment of a part-time director to MindWave

NRI APAC will acquire 9.1% of MindWave's paid-up capital. Also, it will delegate a part-time director from NRI APAC. Both companies'added value improvement will be attained through these measures. Enhanced IT-related services will be provided to the customers by mobilizing the partners'specialties as well as their strengths.

To offer diversified and high quality IT-related services, covering a wide area of the Asian market.

MindWave, established in 2005, has mainly been engaged in IT-related services for corporate customers in the Asia Pacific region, and conducts business activities in seven countries there. The company was ranked among the "Fastest Growing 50 in Singapore 2012"*1 and its continuous growth is expected.
