Lights, camera, action! Today, Netflix announced the cameras are rolling for the new Dutch comedy series Roosters, starring a stellar lead cast of Jeroen Spitzenberger, Waldemar Torenstra, André Dongelmans and Benja Bruijning. Roosters tells a comedic story about four friends trying to survive in a "new era, new man" environment. The series is written by Luuk van Bemmelen and Richard Kemper, directed by Anna van der Heide and Anna van Keimpema and produced by Hollands Licht.
About Roosters Roosters is about Mike, Ivo, Daan and Greg, four Dutch forty-somethings who all feel lost in the new world of empowered women. In Roosters, we follow this tight-knit group of friends in the midst of their crisis of masculinity, each desperately trying to salvage what's left of their relationships and careers in the funniest ways possible.
