Nestle said Tuesday that Magdi Batato, executive vice president and head of operations, will retire in early 2024 and that he will be succeeded by Stephanie Pullings Hart.
The Swiss consumer-goods giant said Pullings Hart, currently senior vice president of operations at Warby Parker, will join the company on July 1 as deputy head of operations and take over as operations head by Jan. 1, 2024. She will also become an executive board member, the company said.
Pullings Hart had a 23-year career at Nestle until 2018 and has worked at Beyond Meat and Warby Parker since then, Nestle said.
Batato is retiring after a career of more than 30 years at the company, where he currently oversees its procurement and logistics areas and leads sustainability work, Nestle said.
