National Real Estate Co KSCP (NREC) is a Kuwait-based public shareholding company that operates in the real estate sector. The Company is primarily engaged in real estate investment and management operations, as well as undertaking real estate construction and maintenance. The Company is organized, along with its subsidiaries, into three business segments: the Real estate and other operations segment includes development, trading, leasing and management of real estate properties and other activities; the Wholesale segment consists of sales transaction of the catering activities in the subsidiaries, and the Investment operations segment covers investment in associates, equity securities and joint ventures. As of December 31, 2011, the Companyâs subsidiaries included, among others, HRD International for Human Resources Development Company WLL and Aqaba National Real Estate Projects Company.
