January 24, 2019 “Bleached Canvas”: Givenchy Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2019 collection by Clare Waight Keller

The lower galleries of the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris provided the setting for the Spring-Summer 2019 haute couture collection by Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy. Titled 'Bleached Canvas', the collection embodies the Artistic Director's philosophy of modern couture, broadening the distinctive Givenchy signature with an of-the-moment aesthetic.

Steeped in diffuse light, the setting for the show created a three-dimensional white cube framing the silhouettes on the catwalk. For the first time since becoming Artistic Director of Givenchy, Clare Waight Keller explored mini-volumes, juxtaposing them freely with flowing, flared constructions.
