Lhyfe climbed more than 13% on the Paris Bourse on Tuesday after announcing that it had secured the energy supply for its future green hydrogen production sites, thereby consolidating its growth.

Under the terms of the agreement, Kallista Energy, an independent renewable energy producer, will sell wind-generated electricity to Lhyfe under a 15-year purchase agreement (PPA).

This partnership will secure bank financing for the renewal of the Brachy wind farm in Seine-Maritime, which has been home to five wind turbines for almost 17 years.

Kallista Energy, owner and operator of the wind farm, will thus be able to replace these turbines with the latest generation machines, producing 70% more electricity than the old ones.

The renewed Brachy wind farm - which is to include five Vestas V126 turbines with a total capacity of 15 MW - will be commissioned in summer 2024, with the aim of producing 46 GWh of renewable electricity per year.
