On November 3, 2021, following the first agreement signed in December 2017, the Crisis Support Center (CDCS) of the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Electriciens sans frontières (1) and 14 companies and / or foundations of companies in the electricity sector (2) have renewed their joint commitment to enable Electriciens sans frontières to provide support to the CDCS on a case-by-case basis in emergency, reconstruction or emergency situations. provision of expertise. Material and financial resources donated by the signatory partners of this agreement will be mobilized for this purpose.

Legrand, represented by Virginie Gatin, Executive VP Corporate Social Responsibility and David Descamps, France Country Manager, signed this new agreement alongside the 13 other companies involved.

In previous years, Legrand notably provided, as notified in the partnership agreement, assistance to the NGO during emergency interventions in 2018 in Palu in Indonesia, in 2019 in Beira in Mozambique and in 2020 in Beirut in Lebanon and Yerevan in Armenia.
