IDS specializes in the development and marketing of systems and software for archiving, managing, analyzing, and communicating the information needed to conduct activities. The group's activity is organized around three main areas:

- creation and installation of geographical data bases: intended primarily for geomarketing, transportation network management, 3D geographical data manipulation, and real-time data processing applications;

- design of Internet software and solutions: for processing, exchanging, and distributing information via Internet and Intranet;

- supply of computer equipment and services: for installing and monitoring information systems.

France accounts for 99.8% of net sales.
