Hugo Boss reported preliminary group earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 2015. For the quarter, group sales increased by 10% to EUR 750 million ($822 million). Operating profit edged up 2.4% to EUR 171 million. In the fourth quarter alone, a strong performance in Europe drove solid top line growth. Continued challenges in China and the US, however, dampened sales and profit development.

For the year, group sales grew by 9% to EUR 2.809 billion and operating profit rose by 1% to EUR 594 million.
