GE: Topolobampo 3 power plant commissioned in Mexico
The 766 MW plant, powered by GE's H-class combined-cycle equipment, is a combined-cycle power plant designed to support Mexico's renewable-energy-rich grid and reinforce renewable growth in the country.
Topolobampo III aims to meet the growing energy demand of Mexico's population, which, according to the IEA's national analysis, is expected to reach more than 150 million by 2050, compared with nearly 127 million today.
