Danone announced on Wednesday the appointment of three new Executive Vice-Presidents to continue implementing the company's strategic plan.

Véronique Penchienati-Bosetta, the general manager currently in charge of international, will be in charge of the "International", "Specialized nutrition and waters" categories, and the "Global marketing and digital" functions.

Shane Grant, currently General Manager North America, will now be in charge of the "Americas" and "Dairy & Plant-based Products" categories, as well as the "Global Customer & Commercial Leadership" functions.

Juergen Esser, EVP Finance, Technology and Data, will be responsible for the same functions as Deputy General Manager.

"This new organization of the management team will accelerate decision-making, enable better coordination and greater speed of execution at the service of sustainable and profitable growth", commented Danone CEO Antoine de Saint-Affrique, quoted in a press release.

The group also announced the appointment of Pablo Perversi as DG Europe and the departures of Floris Wesseling and Nigyar Makhmudova, respectively DG Europe and DG Growth, who sat on Danone's Executive Committee.

These new appointments will be effective from February 1, 2023, Danone said.
