NEW YORK, May 10 (Reuters) - Proxy advisory firm Institutional Shareholder Services on Friday recommended Crown Castle investors back the company's director nominees, dealing a blow to the wireless tower owner's co-founder Ted Miller as he pushes for four board seats.

ISS wrote there is "no case for incremental change at this juncture" after activist investor Elliott Investment Management pressed the company for changes last year, it hired a new chief executive officer and formed a committee to review the future of its fiber business.
