Charlotte Williams and her partner Rhys Jones have recently joined the Penarth Heights community, moving to their new home at the popular development. Moving to the area from Llandaff and Newport, the couple were drawn to the convenience and stunning views that life at Penarth Heights offers.

The couple, who both work for the Lloyds Bank Group in Cardiff Bay, had been on the hunt for a bigger home in a sought-after location, and were immediately drawn to the hassle-free lifestyle that a new home offered. Charlotte commented that, 'We hadn't been planning to move house quite so soon, but had started looking and visited Penarth Heights along with a few other developments. When we saw Penarth Heights we knew that it was right for us.'

Looking for a home that would tick all the boxes, Charlotte and Rhys were particularly drawn to the friendly community feel at Penarth Heights and the design of the house. Moving in earlier this year, the couple commented that 'our house has brightly coloured doors and a unique nautical feel to it. With the garden so close to the sea and the marina, we feel like we're on holiday living here.'

It was this great design and fresh feel that led them to look specifically for a new build property. Charlotte commented that, 'I think we both liked the idea that we were the first people to live there, it was a blank canvas, with freshly painted walls and new appliances. Houses that are a bit older might have already been changed by previous owners, whereas we have the flexibility of changing the colours and layout to meet our needs.'

The location of Penarth Heights was a key factor in the couples move to the development, with its proximity to Cardiff and Newport making commuting convenient. Charlotte said, 'commuting into Cardiff used to be such a chore from Newport and Llandaff, with travel time sometimes in excess of an hour. Our new commute can take as little as 15 minutes, which is perfect for us.'

The process of moving to Crest Nicholson's Penarth Heights was made simple with Part Exchange. Using the scheme the couple were able to exchange Rhys' house in Llandaff for their new home in Penarth Heights. Rhys said, 'having bought a house previously I know how stressful it can be. This option offered a far simpler process, which was nice because there was no sense of urgency or stress, and no long chains.'

The final homes at Penarth Heights are available now including the three/four-bedroom Panache. This beautiful home is spread over three floors with an open plan kitchen and dining room, as well as a roof terrace overlooking Cardiff Bay. Homes at Penarth Heights are available from £600,000, for more information call 02920 020247 or visit; www.crestnicholson.com/developments/penarth-heights/.
