Complete product range on more than 1.500 m²

The new Colruyt store is near the approach/exit of the E40/A10 so it is easily accessible. By means of a nice green drive, customers reach the store's car park that has 153 parking spaces.
'We want to make sure our customer can shop pleasantly and smoothly', says store manager Philip Decleir. 'It starts with a sufficiently large car park and it continues in the store. On 1,536 m², customers can find a wide product range of national brands and the trusted private labels Boni Selection and Everyday in every department. And 7 check-outs ensure a fluent service.'

Butcher's department with open workshop

Customers can choose their fresh quality meat in the self-service butcher's counter. Head butcher Erwin Treve: 'Customers can see the butchers at work in an open workshop and talk to them if they have questions or a special order. They also have a nice overview of the range of meat, cold cuts and salads.'

23 new jobs

The new store also brings extra employment. 'At Colruyt Beernem, 23 co-workers can start', says the store manager. 'They will put their best foot forward to serve our customers every day.'

Collect&Go shops for the customers

Colruyt Beernem also has a Collect&Go pick-up point. 'Collect&Go is a handy Colruyt Group service where we shop for the customers', says the store manager. 'They send their shopping list to collectandgo.be or via the app, and the Collect&Go employees have their products ready at the pick-up point on the day and time of their choice.'

Low-energy store: 4 % less CO2

Colruyt Beernem is a low-energy store with optimum insulation in the front and roof. It is also hermetically finished. The store is equipped with sustainable technology such as a refrigeration system with propene, heat recovery from the ventilation and solar panels on the roof. Philip Decleir: 'This project is part of a more comprehensive renovation plan: by 2029, all Colruyt Group stores should be low-energy stores. The group's CO2 emissions have to go down by 4 %.'

Special open house

From Wednesday 9 January, store manager Philip Decleir, head butcher Erwin Treve and their 21 co-workers will be on hand to welcome their customers to the brand-new Colruyt Beernem.
Philip Decleir: 'The evening before, on Tuesday 8 January from 5 to 8 p.m., everyone is invited for a store preview. During this special open house, customers will be offered snacks and a drink. Everyone is most welcome!'
