Coca-Cola Icecek reported consolidated sales results for the fourth quarter and full year of 2013. For the quarter, the company's consolidated sales volume rose 7.2% on the year to 203.6 million unit cases as domestic sales went up 2.0% and international sales grew 14.3%.
For the year, the company registered a 13% annual growth in its consolidated sales volume to 1.058 billion unit. Sales volume in Turkey rose 0.9% on the year while international sales increased 31.7%. International sales volume accounted for 46% of the total sales in 2013, compared to a share of 39% a year ago. The increase was driven by high organic growth in Central Asia and Pakistan and the acquisition of Iraqi sector player Al Waha.
Coca-Cola Icecek AS (CCI) is a Turkey-based company engaged in the bottling and distribution of alcohol-free beverages in Turkey, Pakistan, Central Asia and the Middle East. The Company bottles and distributes a number of The Coca-Cola Company brands of soft drinks and beverages, including Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola Zero, Coca-Cola Light, Fanta, Sprite, Cappy, Sen Sun, Powerade, Burn and Gladiator. Also under the agreement signed with Schweppes Holdings Limited, the Company has the exclusive right in Turkey, Kazakhstan and Jordan to sell and distribute beverages under the Schweppes trademark. CCI operates production facilities in different regions of Turkey as well as abroad. CCI also holds interest in Turkmenistan Coca-Cola Bottlers Ltd., CC Beverage Limited, the Coca-Cola Beverages Pakistan Ltd. and Azerbaijan Coca-Cola Bottlers Limited in Azerbaijan, among other.
