Our production facility in Dunaharaszti, Hungary will be expanded by 50% as a result of the recent acquisition of an additional 13-acres of land next to the existing site, which will be backed by further investment in capacity expansion up to 2020.
The news follows the opening of the new, extended warehouse in September 2017, which made the 6500 m2, 12 meter-high storage facility the biggest FMCG warehouse in the country, serving more than 30 thousand retail units.
'We strongly believe that with our occasion-based marketing strategy and the power of our brands, we can accelerate our growth' said Minas Agelidis, General Manager of Coca‑Cola HBC Hungary. 'In 2017, we invested a record HUF 6 billion, and this year, we expect to break that record. We want to make the Dunaharaszti plant, that already supplies 25 European markets, the biggest production hub of the Coca‑Cola HBC Group in the CEE region.'
