On Thursday evening, Archos announced an improvement in its half-year results, with the group benefiting mainly from the commercial dynamism of its computer subsidiary Logic Instrument.

Gross margin for the first six months of the year came to 2.37 million euros, compared with 1.65 million euros in the first half of 2022, thanks in particular to a 17% drop in expenses.

Operating income showed a loss of around 400,000 euros, but this was an improvement of 1.3 million euros on the previous year.

At 8.7 million euros, consolidated sales are up a very strong 47% on the first half of 2022, driven by 81% growth at its rugged smartphone, tablet and PC subsidiary Logic Instrument.

The Group says it is aiming for "sustained" growth in 2023, with EBITDA close to break-even.

Following this publication, Archos shares gained nearly 3% on Friday on the Paris Bourse.
