May 6 (Reuters) - Italian hearing aid company Amplifon on Monday posted a 10.7% rise in first-quarter recurring core earnings (EBITDA) to 136.8 million euros ($147 million), with a margin of 23.9%, helped by steps to boost productivity in the second half of 2023.

Amplifon's first-quarter recurring net profit stood at 35.7 million euros, up from 34.9 million euros a year earlier, despite increased depreciation and amortization as a result of strong investments.

The world's largest retailer of hearing aids also confirmed its 2024 outlook, forecasting high single-digit revenue growth and a recurring EBITDA margin above 24.6%.
