Prior to joining AmeriServ Trust in March 2010, Mr. Young served as an Executive Vice President of S&T BanCorp.
Inc. Prior to S&T Bank, he served as Regional Manager for Shawmut Bank and then Fleet Bank's Private Clients Group for western Massachusetts.
He began his career as a Senior Staff Attorney and Financial Consultant with AYCO/American Express in Albany, NY, and has been in the financial services business for over 20 years.
Mr. Young holds a Juris Doctorate from the State University of New York at Buffalo, an MBA degree and a BA degree in Biochemistry Honors from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
He is also a graduate of the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Georgetown University.
He has a Certified Financial Planner designation and a Certified Financial Services Counselor designation, with honors from the ABA National Graduate Trust School.
