Ernest-Antoine Seillière is Chairman of the Supervisory Board of WENDEL Investment.
He joined the familial Group in 1976.
He managed the divestment of steel-producing activities, promoted the restructuring of the Wendel Group and turned the group into an investment company.
Ernest-Antoine Seillière graduated from ENA-Ecole Nationale d’Administration and served as a French Diplomat for ten years.
He was attached to Prime Minister Jacques Chaban-Delmas in 1969, then to Pierre Messmer, Maurice Shumann, and Robert Galley.
He took a year off to lecture at Harvard University's Center for International Affairs in the US.
Ernest-Antoine Seillière was the President of MEDEF (French business confederation) from 1997 to 2005.
Since 2005, he is the President of UNICE (European business confederation).
He has been made Officer of the Legion of Honour and Officer of the Order of Merit.
