Panasonic Healthcare Co., Ltd. agreed to acquire remaining 49% stake in Panasonic Medicom Kyushu Co., Ltd. from Yamashita Medical Instruments Co.,Ltd. (TSE:3022) on September 28, 2017. Under the terms of the transaction, Panasonic Healthcare will acquire 49 shares of Panasonic Medicom Kyushu Co., Ltd. As of March 31, 2017, Panasonic Medicom Kyushu Co., Ltd. reported total assets of ¥192 million and net liabilities of ¥74 million. The transaction was resolved by the board of directors of Yamashita Medical Instruments Co.,Ltd. on September 28, 2017. The agreement is expected to be signed on September 29, 2017. The transaction is expected to close on September 29, 2017.
