Vitru Limited reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was BRL 521.5 million compared to BRL 308.02 million a year ago. Net income was BRL 87.07 million compared to BRL 20.86 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was BRL 2.58 compared to BRL 0.82 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was BRL 2.44 compared to BRL 0.76 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was BRL 965.72 million compared to BRL 485.81 million a year ago. Net income was BRL 143.28 million compared to BRL 44.8 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was BRL 4.24 compared to BRL 1.84 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was BRL 4.02 compared to BRL 1.72 a year ago.
