Vishay Intertechnology Updates Online Virtual Trade Shows With New Products, Enables Viewing on Mobile Devices
MALVERN, Pa. - Jan. 20, 2014 - Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH) today announced that it has updated the virtual trade shows on its website to include new products in all categories, while offering an enhanced format to enable viewing on tablets and other mobile devices. The online trade shows are web 2.0 applications that use interactive posters - featuring links to product demonstration videos, promotional material, technical articles, and more - to highlight Vishay's components for alternative energy, power management, medical, and high-temperature applications.
Vishay's Alternative Energy Virtual Trade Show highlights the company's components for solar power, hybrid technology, and turbine power applications. Featured products include 1- and 3-phase cylindrical aluminum low-voltage capacitors with a long life expectancy > 130,000 hours for power factor correction; TMBS® Trench MOS Barrier Schottky rectifiers in power packages for bypass diode protection in solar cell junction boxes; and AEC-Q101-qualified automotive power MOSFETs with temperature ranges to +175 °C.
