Vale S. A announced that its executive board has approved and will submit to the board of directors a proposal for a minimum dividend equal to zero for 2016. The company said the move is due to price volatility in mineral commodities. The executive board has also proposed to revise the current dividend policy to better align it with the current environment of commodity prices uncertainty.
