UVAT Technology Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2019. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 154.118 million compared to TWD 100.923 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 94,000 compared to TWD 16.524 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 3.207 million compared to net loss of TWD 18.840 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.08 compared to basic loss per share of TWD 0.53 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 0.08 compared to TWD 0 a year ago.
UVAT Technology Co., Ltd. is mainly engaged in the provision of coating original equipment manufacturing (OEM) services and the manufacture and sale of vacuum sputtering equipment. The Company's coating OEM services include the surface coating processing of consumer electronics, anti-electro-magnetic interference (EMI) coating processing, various of optical coating services, non conductive vacuum metallization (NCVM) and high- and low-temperature indium tin oxide (ITO) coating services, among others. Its vacuum sputtering equipment includes in-line continuous sputters, plasma surface treatment machines, solar equipment, touch panel coating equipment and other types of coating equipment, among others. The Company distributes its products in domestic markets and to overseas markets.
