Production from Denmark's Tyra gas field will resume in March 2024, TotalEnergies said in a statement on Monday.

Denmark's largest gas field has been temporarily shut down for redevelopment in 2019, and production is expected to start on March 31 or earlier this month, the French oil major said, adding that it will take four months for production to reach its maximum rate.

The redeveloped field, called Tyra II, is expected to supply 2.8 billion cubic meters of gas per year, TotalEnergies had previously said. (Reported by Stine Jacobsen in Copenhagen and Nerijus Adomaitis in Oslo)
