TotalEnergies has announced that it has been selected, along with its partner Corio Generation, for their Attentive Energy Two offshore wind project for a 20-year contract to supply 1.34 GW of renewable electricity to the US state of New Jersey.

Attentive Energy Two, a joint venture between TotalEnergies (70%) and Corio (30%), won the third OREC (Offshore Renewable Energy Credit) bid organized by the New Jersey State Board of Public Utilities (NJBPU).

Thanks to this project, more than 650,000 homes will be supplied with renewable electricity. Its development is expected to generate up to $105 million in investment in the local economy, and the consortium is aiming for commissioning in 2031.
