Thinking Electronic Industrial Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 1,763.39 million compared to TWD 1,888.55 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 333.04 million compared to TWD 400.42 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 2.6 compared to TWD 3.12 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 2.59 compared to TWD 3.11 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 5,298.95 million compared to TWD 5,588.28 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 944.31 million compared to TWD 1,204.85 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 7.37 compared to TWD 9.4 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 7.34 compared to TWD 9.36 a year ago.
THINKING ELECTRONIC INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture, processing and distribution of thermistors and pressure sensitive resistors. The Company provides thermistors, which are applied in the manufacture of power supplies, power motors, transformers, instruments, television sets, radios, transistors, automobiles, refrigerators, mobile phones and chargers, among others, as well as pressure sensitive resistors, which are applied in the manufacture of protection integrated circuits (ICs), diodes, transistors, consumer electronic products, communication products, measuring and controlling electronics, wireless telephones, notebook computers and receivers, among others. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
