The Manitowoc Company, Inc. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was USD 602.8 million compared to USD 497.2 million a year ago. Net income was USD 20.2 million compared to USD 15.1 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.58 compared to USD 0.43 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.57 compared to USD 0.42 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was USD 1,111.1 million compared to USD 956.2 million a year ago. Net income was USD 36.7 million compared to USD 18.2 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 1.05 compared to USD 0.52 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 1.03 compared to USD 0.51 a year ago.
