TERNA ACQUIRES ASSET IN ALTO ADIGE

FOR APPROXIMATELY €14 MILLION

The agreement involves 34 km of power lines and 2 Alperia Group electrical substations

Rome, 5 January 2023 - Terna has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of the share capital of Edyna Transmission Srl, an Alperia Group company operating in the transmission sector, owner of 34 km of high-voltage power lines and 2 electrical substations in Alto Adige, which are already part of Italy's electricity grid, for a total value of approximately €14 million. The agreement is subject to the fulfilment of certain conditions precedent.

The transaction is part of the strategy of the Group - headed by Stefano Donnarumma - to unify Italy's national electricity transmission infrastructure, consolidating parts of the high-voltage grid owned by local utilities, with the goal of further improving the grid's efficiency and reliability.
