Taiwan Wax Company,Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 370.262 million compared to TWD 288.411 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 5.196 million compared to TWD 24.037 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 13.828 million compared to TWD 24.743 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.2 compared to TWD 0.45 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 705.151 million compared to TWD 552.922 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 17.070 million compared to TWD 44.361 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 15.015 million compared to TWD 36.947 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.21 compared to TWD 0.68 a year ago.

The Company provides soft waxes, hard waxes, Vaseline materials and products, as well as formulated waxes and chemical products used for wax manufacturing. Its products include refined waxes, microcrystalline waxes, intermediate waxes, oil waxes and others. The wax products are mainly applied in the manufacture of candles, damp proof coatings for cartons, crayons, rubber additives and insulating materials for electronics and others. The Company also provides leasing service. The Company distributes its products within Taiwan market and to the rest of Asia, the Americas and Australia.
